What is the Lease-to-Own program?
The Lease-to-Own program from Progressive Leasing lets you pay over time for the gear you want now. Progressive offers a simple lease program where you make payments over time. Once the payments are made in full, you own the gear. Lease-to-Own program is provided by Prog Leasing, LLC.

How does this program work?
You can complete the lease application online, typically in under five minutes. Once approved, please call a Musician’s Friend Gear Adviser at 866-979-0543 to make your lease purchase over the phone. Not all applicants are approved.

What do I need to be eligible and to apply?
You must be 18 years or older (19 years or older in AL), and have a valid Social Security Number, routing and account numbers for an open and active checking account, and a credit or debit card (pre-paid cards not accepted).

Does applying for a lease impact my credit score?
Applying for a lease with Progressive Leasing should not impact your FICO score; however, we do look at credit bureau reports, and this inquiry may appear on your credit report.

How much can I get approved for?
Approval amounts will vary. Progressive looks at several data points, including employment status and banking history. If it is determined that a Progressive Lease is a good fit, an approval and amount will be provided. The minimum lease amount must be at least $150.

Is there a processing fee for a Progressive lease?
There is no processing fee. Progressive charges an initial $79 payment when you sign the lease (payment varies in CA). This is your first payment and part of the total cost of the lease. If you are not approved, you will not be charged.

How long is the lease?
The lease agreement is typically 12 months. However, there are early purchase options* that allow you to own the gear sooner. *Standard agreement offers 12 months to ownership. How do I make payments on my Progressive lease?
Payments will be automatically deducted from your checking account or charged to your credit card. Your payment frequency will depend upon the payday frequency provided on your application.

What will my monthly payment be?
Your payment amount will be determined by the price of the gear you add to the lease. There is a Payment Estimator on the application link where you can estimate what your payments will be. Your exact payment amount will be found in the Lease Agreement, which will be available for your review prior to signing. Who do I contact if I have a question about my lease?
Contact a Progressive Leasing customer service representative at 877-898-1970. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (MT), on Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. (MT), and are not available on Sundays. You may also access your account online via the customer portal anytime at myaccount.progleasing.com.

Do I have the option of buying the gear before my max lease term ends?
Yes. You can purchase the gear at any time, however the lease is set up to be 12 months in duration. If you pay it off in the first 90 days, you can take advantage of the 90-day Purchase Option* (3-month purchase option in CA) provided in your lease agreement. Within 90 days, you will only pay the actual cash price for the gear, plus the $79 initial payment. After 90 days, early purchase options** are available, but vary by state.

Can I return an item that was part of a Progressive lease?
Yes. You can cancel your lease at any time. If you are within the Musician's Friend return period, you can ship it back. If your return is outside of the standard return period, you can return your merchandise to Progressive Leasing to cancel the lease. You will need to contact Progressive Leasing customer service at 877-898-1970 Mon.-Fri. 8AM-5PM (MT); Sat. 8AM-4PM (MT) prior to any return.

What happens if the gear on my Progressive lease is damaged or defective?
You will need to contact Progressive Leasing customer service at 877-898-1970 Mon.-Fri. 8AM-5PM (MT); Sat. 8AM-4PM (MT). Progressive will evaluate the product to determine the proper course of action.

Are some items excluded from a Progressive lease?
Yes. You are currently unable to lease Gold Coverage, gift certificates, digital downloads or other intangible items. These items can be purchased in a separate transaction with another payment type.

If I am a Musician's Friend Rewards member, will I receive Musician's Friend Rewards points on my lease?
No. Products leased with Progressive Leasing are not eligible to get Musician's Friend Rewards points.
